Payout Policy

This policy explains how commission is earned, when it clears, and how and when you get paid as an Embassdors ambassador. It should be read alongside our Program Terms.

1. How commission is calculated

Commission is a percentage of the net order value — the amount the customer actually pays after your audience's discount is applied, and excluding shipping, taxes, and any additional fees. Your rate is set by your current tier, and your dashboard shows the exact commission for every order.

2. The clearing period

Commission on an order is 'pending' until it clears. Commission clears 30 days after the order is delivered, once the return and chargeback window has closed.

This waiting period is how we confirm an order is genuine and delivered before paying on it. Commission is only earned on delivered orders that are not returned, cancelled, or charged back.

3. Payout threshold

You can withdraw once your cleared balance reaches the minimum payout threshold of $50. Balances below the threshold roll over and keep accumulating until you reach it — you never lose cleared commission.

4. Payout schedule

Cleared balances above the threshold are paid out every two weeks on a fixed cycle. There are no arbitrary holds beyond the clearing period, and the schedule doesn't change based on your balance.

5. Payout methods

Payouts are made by PayPal or direct deposit (ACH) to a US bank account. You choose and manage your payout method in your ambassador portal.

6. Your signup bonus

The signup bonus credited on approval becomes withdrawable alongside your first commission payout, not at the moment of approval. We may withhold or reverse the bonus where we detect fraudulent signups, fake engagement, or duplicate accounts.

7. Taxes

Ambassadors are independent contractors and responsible for their own taxes. US ambassadors must provide a completed Form W-9 before their first payout, and we issue Form 1099-NEC to anyone paid $600 or more in a calendar year, as required by law.

8. Withheld or reversed commission

We may withhold pending commission connected to fraudulent orders, fake engagement, self-referrals, or other breaches of our Program Terms. Once commission has cleared and been paid to you, it is never clawed back.
